Werder and Wolfsburg have played five games in the second half of the season, and it is interesting that their results are virtually identical. VfL Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg cannot regret that they were eliminated from the Cup, because they received goal early against Schalke but they were unable to respond and after a minimal defeat were eliminated from the competition, so they could now dedicate their attention to the championship and try to avoid stressful ending in the struggle for survival. In the last round they missed the opportunity to win important points in duel with their direct competitor Stuttgart and ended with 1-1. Previously, they scored points in Hannover, however, there is no continuity and that is the biggest problem for the “Wolves”.

Coach Schmidt has expectedly made some changes in the Cup, and S.Jung was on the right-back, and Gerhardt was in midfield and their last reinforcement Mehmedi played in midfield. In addition to elimination, the problem is that their left-back Tisserand fot injured in Gelsenkirchen, which will not be able to play now, so William jumos instead, while Verhaegh returns on the right-back. Gerhardt is also injured, so their winter reinforcement Steffen will play again.

Werder is even closer to winning in this game because it seems they are in the good mood lately, though the results are still not good. Wolfsburg oscillates and one can never know with them, so even in Bremen they can score some goals. Werder is not overly efficient, but they should be able to score against their opponent.
