Eintracht played the final match last season and lost. The previous two championship matches were lost with an identical score of 2-0, but it is important to say that their opponents were very strong and they first played in Leverkusen, and in the last round they welcomed Bayern.

They were fully overpowered in Leverkusen, with the proviso that both goals were received in the second half, while Bayern had more opportunities, but they received both goals in the first part of the game.
